My journey began March 19th, 2021, when I was bitten by a Long Star tick that was infected with Alpha-Gal Syndrome. In May 2021 I started having my first reaction starting with outbreaks of hives, rashes, welts, GI issues and so much more including anaphylaxis being hospitalized a few times. I had so many roadblocks with no answers in ER, Doctors, Allergist till my Doctor mentioned an article she read about a tick after many visits with her. I started my research and the long months ahead of figuring out a new diet without all the things I was having reaction too. After a little over a year, I got to discover a treatment out there that the reviews were mixed by many. After months of reading research, tracking sources and research and the long road to find Dr. Carie Carter, my journey with her began starting SAAT.

Two recent examples are on December 26, 2014 I woke up with a case of Bell's Palsy. The emergency room doctors told me I could suffer with this for as much as nine months. after only four visit with Cari my bells palsy was almost undetectable. 6 weeks ago I tore my bicep tendon on my right arm. The orthopedic surgeon suggested surgical repair. Even though my arm was in a lot of pain and I could not lift anything I decided not to have the surgery. I started going to Cari about 1.5 months ago for a fibroid I was detected with in July 2015 and other issues associated with it. We met with Dr. Cari yesterday for my son who suffers from absence seizures. We have been seeing a neurologist for over a year who has tried mediciation after medication, eeg's, MRI's and after thousands of dollars he was still having these seizures that although they weren't harming him it was over 30 a day and he was falling very behind in school. After just one meeting with Dr, Cari she was able to tell us where these were coming from, work on fixing it and I have seen such a difference in him today. We haven't seen any seizures, he is more focused and he was able to read through two books without going into a seizure state like he used to do when he really had to think about stuff. Hoping the rest of the day is seizure free but it feels like we finally may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with these seizures!

The office is surprising, in brick building I have passed 100 times, I have never noticed this facility. Once I found the office, the office was incredibly welcoming and relaxing. The staff knows their patients well and they have a myriad of services.

I was going into my first acupuncture treatment ever. I have heard great things and figured I would give it a shot for some pain I had been experiencing. I was a bit nervous as I faint every time I get blood drawn (but I didn't faint when I got my tattoo, so I figured I would be OK).

The neurolink knowledge that was shared was fascinating, as well as some of the origination of acupuncture. Overall the office and practitioners were incredible.

They were also very gentle when inserting/removing the needles. I still did not like the initial sting/pinch of the insertion, but did feel better afterwards and the pain was minimized/non-existent. I am not sure if it is my thing, again because of needles, but I am glad that I tried it and that Tree of Life was my first experience.
